A Brief History About Us
No Chintz™ was started 15 years ago in Woollahra by Chrissie Jeffery, the creative force behind Stitches Soft Furnishings, a trade only work room for both designers and architects. It was opened due to the demand of customers who fell outside the trade requirements. No Chintz has recently become a Registered Trademark of the parent company, Stitches Pty Ltd, which is very exciting indeed!
Since then, the fabric/retail side has expanded enormously prompting the second shop opening in Willoughby 5 years later. Both shops provide simple fabrics and creative soft furnishings, manufactured by Stitches Soft Furnishings.
Our People
Every successful business knows they are nothing without experienced and loyal staff. No Chintz prides itself on having dedicated staff members who actually enjoy their job. They understand the importance of good service and most of all, appropriate design and fabric advice for the individual. We believe every job is as important as the last. Lisa Howitt, our store manager, is always on hand to discuss any queries that fall outside the norm.
