Absurd is a medium sized warp print stripe fabric available in numerous colourways and is suitable for blinds, curtains, cushions and light upholstery such as occassional chairs and bedheads.
With regards to the Absurd fabric, it is good to know that it is a handwoven Ikat, made using 7000 warp threads at 25mt long, which are dyed before they are woven.
A characteristic of this fabric is its slipped threads, or warp drifts, which create an uneven pattern within the fabric.
We do not consider these flaws but rather the hand of the weaver and an inherent quality of a complex Ikat.
